• Question: I'm not really sure what you mean by the comment you added on my photo. I try not to be a Tolkien-hipster, but I have been reading him since I was 9 and I enjoy making edits based on all his works, even the ones that haven't been made into movies.   Oh, no, no, I love your post! What I said was a response to a lot of stuff I’ve been seeing on my own dash of people going nuts over the “hot” actors in the Hobbit movie. I had actually searched “tolkien” looking for posts that were genuinely about loving Tolkien’s work as opposed to the tumblr-fan-craziness prevalent elsewhere. I apologize if I offended you!

Because tumblr didn’t care about the Hobbit until they made a movie about it.
